Ramadhan
Finally this Holly month that what Moslem waiting for, come.
I was born in a Moslem familly my parents and mysister are Moslem, but a lot of my other families arent. My aunt and her familly are Christian or Catholic. So as a huge familly we celebrate The Eid and Christmas. Its is great when a few year passed Eid and Christmas celebration are in the same week, I remember that year, we as a huge families gather together and celebrate it. It was fun and it is thougt me about tolerance and respect to each other even though we have differences, That is what my parents told me and my sister since we are was a child.
Marhaban ya Ramadhan...
Before we fast we will have kind of breakfast but early in the morning its our first meal to give enough energy for the rest of the day. Most of Moslem have it at home. For me, I woke up around 2.30am and cooked the food then have "sahur" with the rest of the familly. Ussually I eat a bit of rice , egg, vegetables and drink a glass of milk and eat some fruits and add it with take a pill of extra vitamins. Our time to have "sahur" is till the first pray time come, we called this first pray as "shubuh" its few hours before the sunrise. In a day we have to pray 5 times. The third pray we called "Dzuhur" its during the day ussually start from 12pm until 3pm, then come the third pray "Ashar" its between 3pm 'till the sunset, then continue with the fourth pray which is from the sunset till around 7pm. When the sunset come and then we hear "Adzan" its the call from Masjid (Mosque) our place for take a pray that define the tim for pray is come beside that this sign tell us that we can break the fast after like 12 hours we have to stand not for eating and drinking. I break the fast mostly together with my families at home my mother cook the meal or sometimes me and my sister cook for the familly. After we break the fast we go to Masjid to have the fifth pray and then do the special pray that we just do it in Ramadhan which is called "Tarawih". Tarawih is like a normal pray the aim just the same ask for blessing and forgiveness.
This month for me its like bring more time to do self reflection its like spiritual journey for the soul, controlling the desire of food, drink , gossip, sins.
I will upload pictures and more updates about whats happened during Ramadhan around me *_*
